Terms of Service

These terms describe how you may use CTXbase to convert source material into Markdown, save it to your cloud library, and share it through read-only access.

Last updated: June 30, 2026

Service scope

CTXbase helps you convert supported files, web pages, and pasted text into Markdown. You are responsible for having the rights to the material you upload, paste, save, or share.

Cloud library

When you choose to save a result, CTXbase stores the Markdown output, source label, metadata, and access settings needed to show and manage it in your account. CTXbase is not designed to keep the original source file as a long-term cloud drive asset.

Security responsibilities

CTXbase uses transport encryption and cloud access controls to protect the service, but your account, browser session, API keys, MCP configurations, and share links must be protected by you. Anyone with a valid access link may be able to read the Markdown within that link's scope.

Read-only access

Access links and MCP connections are read-only. CTXbase stores access tokens as hashes and cannot show the same token again after creation, so copy it only to places you trust.

Reviewing results

Conversion output may contain extraction mistakes, OCR mistakes, formatting changes, or missing context. Review Markdown results before relying on them, publishing them, or sharing them with another person or tool.

Service changes

We may update, limit, suspend, or remove parts of the service when needed for security, reliability, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or product quality.
